Congratulations on the birth of your child!

On your wedding day, you promised to accept any children that God may give you willingly and to raise them in the Catholic faith. Now it is time for you to take the first step in the journey that is forming young souls.

Baptism is the first Sacrament of Initiation. It is the formal acceptance of your child into the universal Catholic Church, where they are claimed as a child of God.

There are a number of administrative tasks that will need to be completed before your child can be baptized. This will include providing certain documents for you and the child's sponsors whom you have selected. The parents and sponsors will also need to complete a baptism preparation course before the Baptism can be scheduled.
