In the later years of his Pontificate, Pope Benedict XVI began to reoganize the sequence of the Sacraments of Initaition. In his thinking, young people would first recieve the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and then later recieve their First Communion and Confirmation symultaneously. 

Our Lady of Sorrows has adopted this format. Young people older than the age of 7 begin a two year Wednesday night Sacraments class sequence. At the end of the first year they receive their First Reconciliation. At the end of their second year, they recieve their First Communion and Confirmation.

Sacraments Classes run throughout the school year on Wednesday evenings in the Parish Hall.
